Housing Minister discusses law on sustainable development (Ministry of Housing)

The Minister of Housing, Sustainable Development and Infrastructure of the Grand Duchy, Marco Schank, recently joined a press conference to discuss a draft of the legislative act devoted to the promotion of housing and sustainablepremises. It did draw the attention of the media to a policy being worked out by the government with the aim to promote housing as well as its sustainability.

Back in 2010 the government of the Grand Duchy of Luxembourg had introduced a package of reforms whose primary goal was to ease up access to housing while promoting the sustainability of all forthcoming residential projects. The draft discussed by the Minister shall possibly combine the various variables – economic, social and ecological – that do impact on the quality of housing for the current residents as well as on its sustainability for the future generations.
